Day 2 will see you exploring the lush rainforests of Kuranda aboard the Skyrail and Scenic Railway, heading first up over the canopy of the rainforest aboard the Skyrail Cableway with stunning views of both rainforest and reef, before reaching Kuranda - the "village in the rainforest" for some exploration. On the return trip, take the Kuranda Scenic Railway down the range for a wonderful journey back down through the rainforest.

Day 3 takes you to the epic area of Cape Tribulation where you'll get a dose of rugged tropical coastline. Take a rainforest walk to Mossman Gorge, see the animals of tropical QLD at Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas and take a cruise down the Daintree River in the heart of the rainforest.

Time

Day 1 - Great Barrier Reef Cruise

Tours depart daily from the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at 8.15am and return at 4.45pm. Check-in commences from 7.15am and closes at 8am

Day 2 - Kuranda Skyrail and Scenic Train Day Tour

Tours depart at approximately 7.30am and return at approximately 4pm

Day 3 - Daintree Rainforest Tour

Tours depart at approximately 7am and return at approximately 6.30pm

The date you choose will be the date of your reef trip. Kuranda and Cape Tribulation day tour dates are flexible and can be confirmed with the tour operator after your booking. Tour Operator contact details will appear on your tour voucher. Itinerary is flexible and all tours do not need to be taken on consecutive days, a 1 day break is permitted in between tours if required
Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the tour

“ Reef trip was fantastic, amazing experience. My daughter was very seasick and the staff looked after her brilliantly. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Cairns. The only improvement would be for there to be some complimentary soft drinks for children. Adults are given wine, coffee and tea but if you want soft drinks you have to pay. Considering we had to pay adult prices for our teenage children I thought this was not great. Kuranda trip was incredible, beautiful scenic railway up, great bibe in the village and an awesome cable car down over the rainforest and gorge. Not suitable for people who are scared of heights!! Cape Tribulation was a good day but a lot of time spent on a coach. Having said that there were plenty of stops and the driver was very informative and told us a lot about the area. Would highly recommend booking these trips with Experience Oz.

The Reef Cruise was pleasant

The Reef Cruise was pleasant, we visited two reef locations which both had an abundant amount of fish and coral to look at! The onboard ship was well organised, with bean bags to sit on, and there was always an employee on board to give us a hand. The only negative of this trip would be the smell of the inner cabin - it smelt like mould/cleaning products/vomit - however, we were able to move around the ship and simply relocated to the upper deck. Payment options on board were also quite easy, rent it now - for items such as stinger suits, prescription snorkels and various food/beverages - pay at the end of the day. Our Cape Tribulation has organised again fantastically. Our driver/tour guide Luke was a fountain of knowledge and really educated us about the rainforest and the reef. Due to the weather, we did not visit Mossman Gorge but visited a small rainforest which was just as pleasant. Cape Tribulation was again beautiful, and the lunch included was delicious. The only negative I would have to say in this trip is that we passed an ice-cream stand, which we were recommended to go to by a fair few people - but were unable to stop due to time constraints. Our trip to Kuranda was one of mixed emotion - due to the fault of the weather, we were unable to take the train up and thus had to bear an unbelievable queue to get our tickets to go in the Skyrail. We were in the queue for 1 hour, because we were ineligible to use the group tour bookings booth. We understand that the weather played a big part in the running of this day, however, it would have been nice to receive our tickets through the group tour bookings - as that is essentially what we were. Otherwise, Kuranda was beautiful - go to the Butterfly Sanctuary - you won't regret it! Would definitely recommend this trip - I definitely felt that it was value for what we paid!

We had a great time with this 3-day package, Reef cruise, Kuranda Skyrail and Daintree rainforest day trip, pickups were on time all 3 days, Boat staff were very helpful, friendly and very helpful, my 8-year-old son is not confident swimmer, staff took him in the water 3 times, very helpful, thanks, lunch was too good, not only too much variety but also very yummy, Day 2 great time in rail, Kuranda village and very scenic return on Skyrail, Day 3, very informative and friendly driver, Daniel, took us to Mosman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest, yummy lunch at Cape Tribulation and great river cruise at Daintree river, thanks Daniel, you were marvellous. Overall great experience all 3 days, this package is a great value for money.

My best friend and I had an absolutely amazing experience snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef. The views were breathtaking and the water was actually rather warm. The cruise was very organized and had everyone set up before we even arrived at the reef! The BBQ lunch was good and the staff were super friendly. All in all a great experience. Would highly recommend!

7 of us booked 3 day tour package, and so far we like the Great Barrier Reef, haven't done the other 2 tours yet. The ship was new and clean, and the staff was really nice and helpful. They took us to 2 different reef areas, the second one was nicer than the first, but both are really beautiful. The snorkelling equipment looks pretty clean as well. They have wetsuit for rent for $10 UAD. One thing that we wish they should include the travel calm pills instead of charging us $2 for a package of 2 tablets, that's just unnecessary charges. Pretty much everyone on the boat got seasick, the water is really rough this time of year in Cairns (we went in July). The food is only ok, which is what we expected from any tour.

The reef tour was good overall. The staff was very helpful and nice. The boat is new and clean. The food is very average, which I already expected from any tour. The water is very rough though, a lot of people got seasick. Wish the captain went slower.

The food and snacks was great. The staff was very knowledgeable, smart, and helpful. The entertainment was very interesting. The boat was in good shape and clean. It was a fun and safe environment and the staff was calm when patients suffered motion sickness. It is a great environment for people of all ages.

The reef trip was fun

The reef trip was fun, excellent entertainment from the crew, the food was nice and the location for the reef was good. There were a lot of people on the boat so at times there was a lot going on and slight confusion on what to do and timings for each activity. The coach picked us up was at the wrong location for the Kuranda Skyrail trip and the activities at the location were not included which I was not aware of. Despite that, it was still nice to see. The tour guide was knowledgeable enough and the experience was good.
