Embark on a journey from Darwin to two of the Northern Territory's most remarkable destinations, World Heritage-listed Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks, during a three-day tour that includes 4WD adventures, incredible walking tracks and bucket loads of entertainment.
With only small groups participating in each tour, this experiences offers a uniquely personal look into the raw beauty of these incredible destinations, including a variety of nature experiences such as the jumping crocodile cruise, safari camping and spectacular nature walks, this tour is sure to provide the full Top End experience for your perfect Northern Territory adventure.
The tour operates from May - October and includes hotel transfers, camping equipment, various experiences, and three delicious meals per day (Breakfast not included on day one & dinner not included on day five).
Day one begins with a 7am pickup from your nominated accommodation in Darwin before heading off towards Kakadu on route to join a Crocodile Jumping Cruise. Continuing on your journey, the next stop will be to enjoy lunch by the East Alligator River ban where you'll have the chance to spot a crocodile or flying fox nearby. Not long after lunch you'll makes its way into Kakadu National Park where you'll get to visit the Nourlangie Rock, before going on a walk to Gunwhardewharde lookout to enjoy the exceptional views. Day one concludes with an Aussie BBQ dinner at your Mardugal Safari campsite in the heart of Kakadu.
Day two involves an early start headed to Gunlom Falls (if accessible) or Yurmikmik, where you'll be able to heat up on the walk before cooling off with a refreshing swim on arrival. Another 4WD adventure begins after your visit, taking you directly to Ikoymarrwa Rock Holes (Moline) for another swim. The temperatures will typically be quite hot and storms are common, so you'll be able to enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned dorm with the option to camp if preferred.
Day three includes another early start, travelling to Litchfield National Park, with a first stop at the Wangi Falls for a swim in the beautiful natural plunge pool. After your swim you'll journey to Tolmer Falls to enjoy the spectacular views over Litchfield National Park, before heading to Buley Rockhole's for a relaxing picnic lunch. Following lunch you'll be headed on your way to a third and final falls, Florence Falls, for another swim to cool off after another eventful day. The tour arrives back in Darwin at around 5.30pm.
